GroundWorks is a collaborative facility that supports the production, conversion, and editing of digital and analog media. Equipped with Mac and PC workstations, GroundWorks features hardware & software for video and audio creation and editing, a self-contained digital audio Recording Booth, and the Poster Shop, which offers high-quality printing of large-format color posters. Additionally, the lab is staffed with highly knowledgeable student consultants and equipped with the entire library of Lynda.com software tutorials, available for use on lab computers.

The main purpose of GroundWorks is to provide media capture and conversion resources to support the academic, research, and professional work of the university community. While GroundWorks may certainly be used for personal projects, please be considerate of users working on university-related projects. These projects have priority access to the special equipment available in this facility.
